Lemora provides an AI-powered platform that processes educational content including PDFs, videos, and audio recordings to generate:

• AI-generated summaries and key insights
• Interactive flashcards for active recall
• Custom quizzes and practice questions
• Chat-based AI tutoring assistance
• Voice mode for hands-free studying
• Content organization and management tools

3. User Accounts and Eligibility

You must create an account to access most features of the Service. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Users under 18 must have parental consent. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities that occur under it.

4. User Content and Ownership

Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service ("User Content"), including PDFs, videos, audio recordings, and notes.

License Grant: By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, analyze, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Content Requirements: You warrant that you have the right to upload and use all User Content, and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights or violate any laws.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate summaries, flashcards, quizzes, and other learning materials based on your uploaded content.

• Accuracy: AI-generated content is for educational purposes only and may contain errors. You should verify important information independently.
• Usage Rights: You may use AI-generated content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

• Ownership: We retain ownership of the underlying AI technology and models.

6. Subscription and Payment

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. All payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to pay all applicable fees and authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract our AI models
• Use automated tools to access or scrape the Service
• Share your account credentials with others

8. Content Storage and Data

Storage: Your uploaded content and AI-generated materials are stored securely in our systems and may be backed up for reliability purposes.

Data Retention: We retain your content for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we will delete your content according to our data retention policies.

Backup Responsibility: While we maintain backups, you are responsible for keeping your own copies of important content.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and we may delete your account and associated data.
